Why this industry

Why Life Insurance — And Why Now?

Every year brings a new “get rich” trend. Many of them depend on hype, market swings, or ad spend you can’t control. Life insurance is different: it solves a real, lasting need — protecting families financially — and that need doesn’t go out of style.

Strong, lasting demand

Families need to protect their income, their home, and their final expenses in good economies and bad. Financial protection isn’t a fad.

Commission + potential renewals

You earn commissions on the policies you place. Many contracts also pay renewal income on policies that stay in force — depending on your contract, the carrier, and the product.

No inventory, no storefront

Nothing to stock, ship, or warehouse. Much of the work can be done by phone or video from home. Licensing and normal business costs still apply.

Room to build an agency

Start as an agent, then grow into an independent business — and, if you choose, recruit and lead a team of your own.

Average Agent Income $93,000

Earn from new policies plus yearly renewals that grow with your client base. FFL agents average around $93,000 a year, and some earn well over $100,000.

These are industry-wide figures shown for context only — not a projection of what you will earn. As an independent, commission-based agent, your income depends on your experience, sales performance, business expenses, and contract terms. Some new agents earn little or nothing, and no level of income is guaranteed.

Common questions

Straight answers

Do I need insurance experience?

No. Full training is provided, and many successful agents start with no industry background at all.

Do I need a license to apply?

No. You can apply before you’re licensed. If we move forward, I’ll guide you through the licensing process for your state.

Can I do this part-time?

Yes. Many people start part-time alongside their current job and grow from there at their own pace.

How do I get paid?

This is a commission-based opportunity, so your income is directly tied to the work you put in. We’ll go over compensation in detail during your interview.
